It turned out that Sanders checked himself into a hospital during his leave of absence to help deal with anxiety and depression... if that was the real reason it's all good imo

VC was at his daughters tennis tourney he said. That's why he couldn't attend. And JB is a douche so glad he wasn't there.

2. VC left Toronto in the worst way possible

We had our VC forgiveness event last year or the year before I think most have let it go now.... He released a sick clip of all his dunks as a raptor. Him being he would have been nice as a dunk judge

Agreed, I grew up watching VC. I has 5 years old, I loved the excitement he brought. I respect him, I do not like the way he left the city but at the end of the day he put the Raptors and Toronto on the map. Paved the way for my generation; notice all the 20 year old canadians and up and coming talent still coming. There has to be forgiveness.

He would've been a perfect judge, but I think people are still bitter and would've booed him. When they were introducing Tracy McGrady as a judge, I heard some boos. Imagine if Carter was also on the panel.

I didn't like how VC left but that was more like MLSE not knowing how to handle an international superstar of VC's stature. On top of that you had Richard Peddie who had no idea how to run sports franchises and the Ontario Teacher's Pension Fund who only cared about their retirement money instead of their own products (not that Bell/Rogers is any better)

one of a.gordons dunk was a tribute to VC! the between the legs dunk over the mascot, then he does that arrow point ala VC , but he didn't say 'its over, its over' , he also did that mailman karl malone right hand to ear dunk
#hegotrobbed
imo they should raise the rim for dunk contest....make them do the same dunks and then judge so u can compare

Maybe because he's from Ontario, yet he's wearing a Brooklyn Nets hat when he should be cheering for the Raptors. This was the rival team of our two playoff ago. Just a Guess.

And Montejunas, Thornton to the Pistons, both Detroit and Cleveland just got a little better.
