Wednesday June 12 is a VERY big day here in New England. First off, the Celtics play Game 3 of the NBA Finals in Dallas. Secondly, it’s the day of Tom Brady Patriots Hall of Fame Induction.

Grab a cold drink and settle in, because here’s where you’ll find everything you need to know about the Greatest of All Time and his ceremony at Gillette Stadium. TB 12 is one of the greatest sports figures of all time, and in New England he’s up there with Larry Bird and Bobby Orr.

Since announcing his retirement in 2022, after winning his 7th Super Bowl, the New England Patriots have been working on a ceremony worthy of the GOAT. And from the sounds of it, they will deliver. This star studded event has all the bells and whistles, and of course Tom Brady himself.

What To Expect At the Tom Brady Patriots Hall of Fame Ceremony?

On Wednesday, June 12, Tom Brady will become the 35th player inducted to the Patriots Hall of Fame (presented by RTX). According to patriots.com, players usually have to wait 4 years before their legacy is cemented and celebrated. However, back in September, CEO Robert Kraft announced that Tom Brady’s “grace period would be waived and his signature No. 12 would be retired.”

You can stream the entire event on patriots.com or watch it on their social media accounts, including the Patriots YouTube channel.

So, what to expect? There will be a special guest host, a star comedian delivering a monologue, a red carpet, a lot of Brady’s former teammates and staff, interviews and “surprise musical performances” (the rumors are flying regarding musical guests). More than 100 of Tom’s teammates will be at the Stadium.

Details, We Want Details

5:00pm: Gates into the Stadium open

5:15pm: Red Carpet before the ceremony with Patriots reporter and host Tamara Brown. Plus, Jason McCourty and Deatrich Wise Jr. Don’t miss the guest interviews before the show. It will all be live-streamed for those in attendance at Gillette Stadium’s video board. And for those of us at home, we can catch in on patriots.com, as well. Who will show up? We’ll have to watch and see!

  • See Mike “Sarge” Riley on the plaza, Mike “Sarge” Riley interviewing other Patriots Hall of Famers and special guests. Meanwhile on the main stage, before the main event, Patriots reporter Mike Dussault and radio host Nick “Fitzy” Stevens will host other interviews.

6:30pm: Popular comedian, actor, podcaster (and Bostonian) Bill Burr kicks off the ceremony with the opening monologue

7:00-9:30: The Main Event with Tom Brady’s #12 being retired. He will be honored with Hall of Fame status with a red jacket. Teammates, coaches and Kraft will all share stories of their time with Tom.

Who Will Be at the Tom Brady Patriots Hall of Fame Induction

Will Belichick be there? That’s the question on everyone’s minds regarding the upcoming Tom Brady Hall of Fame ceremony. According to CBS News Boston, the former head coach of the Pats will be there, “as first reported by Chad Graf of The Athletic.” Despite the tension between Belichick and Robert Kraft, Bill will be there.

Teammates expected to be there to honor their friend, Tom Brady, include Julian Edelman, Randy Moss, Rob Gronkowski, Willie McGinest, Devin McCourty, Vince Wilfork, Ty Law, James White, Wes Welker, Kevin Faulk, Matthew Slater, Dan Koppen, Logan Mankins, Matt Cassel, Brian Hoyer, Drew Bledsoe, Rob Ninkovich, and Patrick Chung.

Still waiting hear about musical guests. The Patriots did say “surprise guests,” so we may not hear ahead of time. Another reason to stream the event.

Tom Brady and Kenny were the first to do this. Who should be next?

Kenny Chesney & Tom Brady Were the First 2 'Keepers of the Light' Bell Ringers at Gillette - Who's Next?

  • Elliott from Jordan's Furniture

I feel like I’ve watched more Elliott (through years of Jordans commercials) than I have most TV stars. I’ve gotten to hang with him too… and the guy is cooler than you’d even hope. He’d look great ringing that bell!

  • Mark Wahlberg

Tom Brady Patriots Hall Of Fame Induction: Everything You Need To Know (2)
Do I even need to explain this one? Mark Wahlberg is like King of Massachusetts and the Wahlbergs are our burger-slinging royal family. Maybe that was stated a little strongly but you get it.

  • John Cena

John Cena is another Massachusetts favorite. Hailing from West Newbury, MA – the only problem is, if he does ring the bell nobody will be able to see him. Then everybody will think the new lighthouse is haunted.

  • Captain America

Chris Evans is from Sudbury, MA. How perfect would it be if he rang the bell one week… decked out as the ultimate patriot: Captain America!

  • Stewie from Family Guy

Seth MacFarlane grew up in Connecticut. He went to school in Rhode Island and got his start doing stand-up in Providence. That’s too much New England on the resume not to have Stewie ding that bell! Or Seth MacFarlane. Take your pick.

  • Fannie from Frugal Fannies

Yes, I’m aware that her actual name is Kathleen Doxer but she’ll always be Fannie to me! I used to love “singing” along with her commercials, joining in to speak “closed Tuesdays” in unison with her. Oh, you didn’t do that too? Ummmm…..

  • King Richard (from the Faire)

    https://www.instagram.com/p/CiDuYAONxdM/
King Richard’s Faire runs parallel with the start of the football season and who hasn’t devoured a turkey leg while pretending you were living in Renaissance times in Carver? King Richard AND Queen Carmella should ding that bell! His hand might slip right off that dinger rope though from all that slippery turkey juice so I hope he brings a wet nap. Did they have wet naps back then?

  • Wally

Speaking of cross-promotes, I’d love to see Wally out of his element and away from the Green Monster, dinging that bell at Gillette!
