Great deal, I believe was at this price in the past. I bought that and the Braun series 9 sport and ended up keeping the Braun for the cleaning station and more gentle on the skin. Panasonic was a touch closer but no matter what seemed to cause irritation to my neck. I also have sparse but tough and flat lying neck hair so the Braun seems better for that type of hair, though for non sensitive skin and really thick hair I think Panasonic would be the best option.
Hope that helps anyone looking to purchase!

Decent price. Was $99 earlier this week. https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/1025715

Foil shavers aren't generally good at handling longer hairs, so you really need to shave often for them to be effective. You should try moving the shaver in different directions but don't apply much pressure to avoid skin irritation. Going against the grain of your growth can help, the Panasonic ARC5 is arguably one of the best electric shavers available. Try pointing your chin up so the skin on your neck is more taught when shaving there. Good luck, it can take some practice to find what process works best for each individual.

I'm trying to snag it north of $100, but I expected to see it hit that price by now.
The $99 deal was about a week ago and it was not that price for very long.

I've had an ARC5 for about 6 years now (bought during the usual BF'ish sale on it) and it's still going. Odd thing is that I think my previous and long-gone Panasonic Arc3 shaved better, but I still do like the Arc5.

I too have been using the Arc5 for 5-6 yrs now and have no complaints. This baby shaves CLOSE (I got shaver burn at first till my face got used to it. Still shaves great and haven't replaced the blades yet but should because needs more passes now to get the job done. Just picked up the Philips Norelco Shaver 5000X found here it was cheap wanted a backup and wanted to try a rotary again. But The Arc has (and continues) to serve me well!

Have this and not recommended for uses other than face shaving, try the Norelco OneBlade system for a softer touch, adjustable trimmers, etc.

I just got put on blood thinners for clots for the next 6 months. I bought this to transition from a blade shaver. How the heck do you get a good shave with this? It seems to really struggle getting some areas on my neck especially.

You live with this. BC I don't think anything will shave your neck properly but a blade (I've certainly never seen it).

Odd thing is that I think my previous and long-gone Panasonic Arc3 shaved better, but I still do like the Arc5. I thought about upgrading to the Arc5 for giggles but your comment just reminded me of why I should just stick with what works and save my money (for other stupid crap on SD).
I'm still using an Arc3 and it's been a workhorse for nearly a decade. It's like a 90's Toyota Camry the does its job well and refuses to quit. I've changed the blades a couple times but that's it.
