Wondering how you're doing Reesie? You said you'd be able to be back to work in a week, is that still the plan? Hope you're feeling well.

Good guess YaYa and good luck with treatment this week. I be there holding your hand!

My GD asked about what all the fuss was about 9/11 and she heard about towers falling. At first she thought it was a funny thing, then when we talked and showed her on the Internet what happen, shestood there with her hand over her mouth just dumbfounded! She asked if people died and when her Dad (my DS)told her how many she just about came to tears trying to understand why something like that would happen. She even asked about the boys and girls on the planes. Ithink it is so important that the young children today know this and not just run past it in a history book. They don't even say the pledge of allegiance anymore in school or teach the Star Spangled Banner. This just seems wrong to me. What do you ladies think? Kitty

I think it's awful too, Kitty. I have always homeschooled my children but someone who teaches at our local school district recently told me that they are no longer going to teach American Government in their high school because it's not included on the state tests. Everything here is becoming more and more geared to passing the state tests. Aggravating.

My Dad had an appt with the MO today and we were expecting bad news because he had a CT scan last week and my mom picked up the report and it said one of his lungs had increased activity in the tumors. Well the radiology doctor did not look at his history that he had had radiation. Good thing MO picked up on it and called and after the radiologist realized that he had had radiation a few months ago he is now diagnosed properly with radiation pneumonitis. Why do health care profesionals not look at history when it is clearly there for them. Too lazy I suppose. Anyway no chemo today and he is getting treated for his pneumonia and will do chemo next week.

wow, it did turn out huge!

Went to onc today to get bone scan and blood test results. Blood work good, bone scan mixed. Last bone scan was Oct 2010. New bone scan shows new lesions andslight progression. Onc thinks progression happened as I was beginning treatment - therefore old. Says everything else looks fantastic and he would consider me stable. No change in treatment now. Another CT in 4 weeks to see if anything else changes. I know you all don't know the whole sorted story, but if this was you,,,what would you do, what would you ask? I'm really trying to be positive and I have no reason not to, but its still a bit scary. Let's hear it from the experts.

El, that would have been great!! I have already said the pony word. DH of course is fine with that. SIL is biting his nails. I don't think he dares treading on that subject! Thank you all for the compliments, she is quite beautiful even though she is mine.

It is small here. It says "Indomitable Will". She said she wanted that because I am so strong and it will always remind her to stay strong. How sweet.

Foxy, I think it is awesome that my grandson and your granddaughter share the same birthday. Course 10 years apart...but same day. She is so precious! I am in love!
