Garvin, a retired material fabrication supervisor at General Dynamics, now Lockheed Fort Worth, died Monday at a Weatherford nursing home.

He was 84. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford. Burial will be in East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Garvin was born in Zion Hill, Parker County, and was a lifelong Parker County resident. He was a graduate of Weatherford High School and Weatherford College. Mr. Garvin was with General Dynamics for 30 years before retiring.

He was a longtime member of, North Side Baptist Church of Weatherford and Phoenix Masonic Lodge 275. Survivors: Wife, Franke Garvin of Weatherford; daughter, Rhea Wickware of Weatherford; two brothers, Earl Garvin of Canton and Frank Garvin of Fort Worth; one granddaughter; and two stepgrandchildren. field superintendent, died Saturday at a Mineral Wells hospital. He was 83. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Dodson Prairie, Palo Pinto County, where he was a member.

Burial will be in Dodson Prairie Cemetery. Edwards Funeral Home in Strawn was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Boyd was born in Gordon and had lived in Jal, N.M., Kermit and Goldsmith before moving to. Dodson Prairie in 1973.

He had worked for the gas company for 33 years before retiring in 1973. Mr. Boyd was a graduate of Strawn High School. The family suggests that memorials be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church.

He was 83. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Mr. Shumake was born in Thornberry and had lived in Fort Worth since 1954.

He was a 1933 graduate of the Colorado School of Pharmacy and also was a graduate of Texas Christian University. Mr. Shumake owned a drug store in Denver until 1954. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: Wife, Ruth Shumake of Fort Worth; and sister, Jeanette Gossage of Monticello, Ky.

Mr. Gandy was born in Meridian and moved to Whitney from Hamilton in 1968. Louis L. Wright GRANBURY Louis L. Wright, a retired divisional special agent for Rock Island Railroad, died Sunday at a Granbury hospital.

Wright was born in Medford, and had lived in Granbury for five months. He was a former Fort Worth resident. He worked for the railroad for 39 years before his retirement in 1963. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, bowling and watching television. His wife, Florence Wright, died in 1977. CRAFT JACK L. CRAFT, 72, of Brownwood, passed away September 18, 1994. Jack was reared In Floydada, graduated from high school In 1939, served in the US Navy as a Torpedoman's Second Class aboard the USS Nerus during WWII, recelving an honorabledischarge Dec. 8, 1945. Jack worked for the Magnolia Agency in Santa Fe, NM as office manager until 1950 when he moved to Midland and for the next 33 years worked for the Western Company of N.A.

In Midland, Odessa and Fort Worth, retiring as Sr. Purchasing Agent In 1983. He was active in Little League, Past President of Robert E. High School Band Boosters, and during his retirement was an active supporter and chaperone of the Howard Payne golf team.
