AC: YYC-PHX $203 a.i. last week of May

The other direction, PHX-YYC, on US Air also.

Both can be turned through DEN and/or SFO to make it more of an MR.

I know this is not premium MR material but I have a feeling that opportunities are limited from YYC.

To and from YEG and YWG also

I tried May 20-27 and got --

$256 LAS-YYZ
$468 LAX-YYZ
$521 PHX-YYZ

WISH the $256 was out of LAX!

Some returns can go through YYZ as well. Haven't looked closely at the outbounds, could also be available!

Don't be confused - we're talking about YYC, not YYZ.

YYZ is almost 1700 miles from YYC...

Not bad from YWG...

It is not often a mileage run opportunity comes up from Winnipeg, even though it might not be the best CPM out there... it can be maximized with some routing options... I have been looking for the past few days, and this is the best I can come up.

YWG-ORD-OKC-DEN-PHX-DEN-DFW-ORD-YWG

USD $249.86 ai or CDN $306.94

Mileage when credited to Aeroplan with the 500 mile minimum is 5254

CPM = $0.0475 or $0.058

Valid for April 27 through May 3
Same day itineraries available for less miles, the one noted above requires an overnight.

On the AC website there are returns available through Toronto that would net 60 more miles but only two segments.

That's the rough part about living in the central part of the country - air-wise, Winnipeg is fairly close to all major US cities. No opportunities for transcons to lower that CPM a bit.

Actually.........

The West Jet match fares on AC can offer some very lucrative routings-- for LAS--YWG it's not hard to do LAS-SFO-ORD-YUL(!!)-YWG. PHX via SFO and YUL can be worked out too-- I've priced it before at ac.com -- just don't have time to tinker this minute.

UA:: YWG - ATL $214 ai thru april weekends inc.

ATL is open every day. SFO/PHX have same prices but less open dates.

By YWG standards, pretty darn good!

Gonna try to piece together something out of this.

I'm finding some incredible NYC-YYC deals on UA, some with AC segments. Not sure if they work in reverse ex-YYC, but I've found some multi-segment runs out of NYC for $235 AI, including ps segments. ^

Seeing them too. AC doesn't seem to allow constructing an itin via multi-city, though, it refuses to merge the segments together and create the pricing that ITA displays!

I found MKE-YYZ-YOW-YWG-YVR-YEG-YYC for $119 all-in each way.

AC does allow for some itin construction via multi-city but is can get pretty tricky. Also, it is a bit counterintuitive too since you won't always be choosing the lowest fares (need to keep things in T+ generally).

Not sure if this is relevant to you, and I could be wrong, but the cheapest AC fares are not mileage-earning, right? I put together an itin will all kinds of segments, only to learn just in the nick of time that W fares on AC accrue no mileage on UA.

Yeah, I know AC fares can be sketchy.

I ended up booking a UA fare instead - all "W" class but it appears AC will grant miles for W UA fares (one flight is on AC but it is a UA flight number/codeshare).

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 6:03 pm.
