We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Director within our Ecommerce and Retail division.

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

• Management of Budget and Resource, Operational performance, People and Talent as well as interfacing, negotiating, and resolving customer requirements. Establish annual and multi-year priorities and growth targets for each opportunity. Balance multiple site and customer requirements.
• Direct pipeline prioritisation, review all program management plans and monitor progress and status of all projects.
• Customer interface, negotiations, and issue resolution. Identifying opportunities to enhance the relationship.
• Principle customer contract negotiation/approval and 3rd party/supplier negotiations with budget management.
• Development and implementation of mid-term business strategy (multi-site and across the sub- BU) whilst ensuring full compliance with Company policies and EU legislation.
• Establish effective channels of communication with suppliers, colleagues, customers, and their representatives.
• Develop a culture of respect and high performance within the team managing this across a matrix environment and developing strong management capability through effective performance management, coaching, mentoring and development of teams and individuals.

• Strong knowledge of Transport operations within both open and closed book environment - Essential
• Supply Chain experience at a senior management level, with the ability to manage direct reports and Customer Management at a Senior Level - Essential
• Understanding of complex Transport Networks, and multiple locations across the UK. - Essential
• Business and Commercial acumen and being results orientated.
• Strategic and analytical thinking capability, with the ability to manage end to end supply chain.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior business leaders outside of own job area to accept practices and approaches.
• Experience of delivering and implementing high profile and complex projects.
